Three years ago, Angela Daniels and Anna Anderson Belton found themselves in a dilemma.
The two had been out in Brooklyn, and when they wanted to return home, the subway stop didn’t have a Metro ticket machine or any other way to pay. The two began to debate about what to do, searching online for information, but it was difficult to find.
That moment sparked the new app, YouCode, an open-source, searchable legal library listing thousands of laws.
