In such a contentious political season, are couples who split along party lines destined for an acrimonious breakup? Not necessarily, said a relationship expert interviewed by Bustle.
Couples of all different ages have found themselves at odds over their political views, but they made it through nonetheless, author Susan Winter told Bustle.
“They remain partnered due to their foundational values on love, partnership, and relationship goals,” she said.
