Hot! Spicy! And meaty! Calm down I’m talking about this spicy crab recipe that will for sure get things heated at dinner. I love King crab for its sweet, briny flavor. I’m always looking for an excuse to make it. I feel that Valentine’s Day is a perfect occasion. This dish can easily cost $42 dollars at a fine dining restaurant and if you go on Valentine’s Day, you have to deal with the hassle of getting a reservation. Why not just stay-in and chill a bottle of bubbles. Either you cook this for your love or cook together. It’s such a flavorful and delicious dish that’s so easy to make that you can move on to what V-Day is all about it.. Love (Making dreamy eyes).
Prepare the crab by cutting off the top half of the shell of each crab with a kitchen scissor. Your best indication is to have the smoother part of the shell facing you. That’s the part you want to remove. If the spikes are too rough for you, hold the crabs with a kitchen towel. Place the crab legs in a broiler safe pan and lightly drizzle with olive oil.
Melt the stick of butter in a small saucepan (do not brown). In the meantime, add the egg yolk, lemon juice, Johnny seasoning into the blender/ food processor on high for 15-20 seconds and slowly drizzle the hot butter while the motor is still running.
Until next time… safe me a seat at your table!
