Eggs every morning for breakfast?! Boring! I’m a true New Yorker who believes there is no better pizza or bagel in the world for that matter than New York baby! (I’m sorry folks).
So I decided to give my two favorite things a twist and have them for breakfast. Layer after layer of smoked salmon, a spread of silky cream cheese, salty capers, crunchy red onion on a crusty naan? You have perfect new lox. Simple and fresh ingredients at your finger tips all year round. Instead of a bagel we will be using Naan. This is a healthier alternative to pizza. Enjoy lox & lox of pizza any day of the week.
Start off by grilling the naan.
Spread the chive cream cheese evenly covering the naan
Start to layer it with the smoked salmon
followed by red onions
avocado, dill and fresh squeezed lemon juice (optional. Right before serving)
