Ruth Guerra, the head of Hispanic media relations at the Republican National Committee, is resigning this month, according to The New York Times.
It appears her resignation is a result of her discomfort working for Donald Trump. His past comments “suggesting that Mexican migrants were drug dealers and rapists” has not done much to win over Hispanic supporters.
Guerra is moving on to join the super PAC American Action Network.
Mike Shields, president of the American Action Network, stated that her role will involve “expanding her role as a conservative voice into congressional districts across America, on both policy and political issues.”
