This week on Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, she talked about the women of the city council of Seattle who voted against opening up an area of town to build a basketball arena. The women were concerned that the arena would have cost taxpayers too much with little to show for it. They were behaving in a fiscally responsible way.
Their vote turndown caused an uproar on Twitter with no shortage of sexist slurs directed at the five women who outvoted the four men of the council.
