Since living in the States I’ve been introduced to watching the Super Bowl. As a Canadian, I can’t say I’m a huge fan or that I understand anything that’s going on (I remember exclaiming to my husband how incredible it was that the field lights up to show you the plays. He quietly informed me that that was edited and that it was just a regular old field.) but I do love food. And what’s the Super Bowl without food? Just regular ol’ football, I tell yah.
This year we’re going all out on the food because honestly, knowing that there will be good food available is the only thing that’s going to get me on that couch! Here we have bison sliders. Not just any bison sliders, though. bison sliders with lemon-rosemary mayo, white cheddar, caramelized onion, a cabernet sauvignon reduction, arugula, and tomatoes. And it’s all held together in a pretzel bun with a sprig of rosemary. Mmmmm. Is your mouth watering yet? I’ve got to brag a little here. Not only is this incredibly delicious, but it’s beautiful. I guarantee it will impress all those football fans that’ll be gathering around your table, ready to feast! Heck, they might even look up from the TV and exclaim how good they are!
