For 25 Years Stuart Weitzman has designed shoes for women that not only look good, but feel good. Shoes should be designed from the inside out, inspired by the everyday women walking the streets of New York.
Stuart Weitzman prides himself as a craftsman, who cares about the brand and the woman wearing the brand. Over the years, Weitzman is know for making shoes that caress, adorn, and adore a woman’s foot – shoes that ignite her imagination, making her feel glamorous without added effort.
Here is a chronological timeline of how the brand has transformed itself over the years, slating high fashion runway models, to translate the brand to shoe lovers worldwide.
“I enjoyed working with Stuart Weitzman again this season to showcase his fabulous fall boots,” said Kate Moss. “Shooting the campaign with Mario is always fun and, with such a great team, it really doesn’t feel like work.” ELLE Magazine

Weitzman’s brand is synonymous with using pop culture fashion ‘it girls.’ From the 1990s onwards, the hottest international runway and print models were known to walk the stage wearing the most comfortable high heels designed by Weitzman. In the 2014 Gisele Bündchen was the runway ‘it girl’ and the highest paid model in the world! Bündchen scored herself the lead in print and commercial ads for Weitzman in 2014, taking over for Kate Moss.
The legendary Mario Testino shot the campaign, in which Stuart Weitzman set out to capture “a distinctively minimalist aesthetic while manifesting the intimate relationship between a woman and her shoes.” The designer exclusively tells ELLE.com of the spring 2015 ads, “Gisele exemplifies the Stuart Weitzman woman with her zest for life, love, and family.”

In 2016, Weitzman opened the door for more diversity, and slated three high fashion runway models for print and commercial ads. Adding Gigi Hadid, Lily Aldridge, and Joan Smalls to the roaster of Weitzman”it Girls”!
This Spring/Summer 2016 Weitzman brings a bit of the 1960s flare of fashion to shoe designs. With bright and bold colors and a big emphasis on comfort.
This slew of sexy, high-profile campaigns, which began after the company was acquired by Jones Apparel Group in May 2010, are a major part of Weitzman’s bid to expand his youthful, fashion-forward customer base. And it’s working: “More and more of our product is going to women ages 40 and under, who I’ll call ‘fashion appreciative,’” explained Weitzman.

Challenging the traditional roles women are often cast to play, Denise Mobolaji Ajayi-Williams has created a revolutionary organization for women worldwide to be a part of. Denise’s organization “Working Moms in 20’s” comes from a unique concept all her own, the idea that women can redefine their position in history and establish themselves as the true leaders that they are to their homes and communities. “Women are the pillars of communities,” asserted Denise, “They are the driving force of success, stability, and growth.” The mission of the organization is to theoretically go back to the 1920’s and to rewrite history, celebrating our racial, cultural, ethnic, and religious differences while making visible the parts of history not often celebrated. Denise’s vision is to go back in time to create a mindset that there are no limitations for women and highlight the unsung female heroes. In addition to being the founder of “Working Mom in 20s” Denise is a mother, wife of Hayden Williams III (her husband Pre-Med Student at University of San Francisco, Healthcare Innovator & Professional), she is a child of God, and like most moms a truly ambitious woman taking on the world.
