The wait is over, and the hottest single of the summer has finally been released. This time it’s not from Drake, Future, Rihanna, or Katy Perry, but from MSNBC’s own Joe Scarborough. And it’s about Donald Trump. Thats right, good ol’ Morning Joe criticized the Don’s immigration policy in a legendary diss track that makes Tupac’s “Hit Em Up” look like a song about friendship.
In the days prior to Trump’s heavy-hitting immigration speech last night, many began to believe that he went soft on his immigration policy. Anyone who thought diss tracks didn’t have influence are eating their words now. “Amnesty Don” –the number one trend world wide on Twitter–must have heard Scarborough’s hit single, because it appeared to have gotten to him. Just nine weeks out from the election, Trump doubled down by claiming he will in fact build a wall, and Mexico will foot the bill.
It’s not quite clear yet if Scarborough will be dropping another song to continue this heated feud, but if he does, we will be the first to let you know.
