Troy A. Gayeski from SkyBridge Capital, which is led by Anthony Scaramucci, said he hopes Opportunity Zones can increase workforce housing, which we “desperately need.”
Opportunity Zones, a part of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, aim to get capital in distressed communities. Gayeski, a partner and co-chief investment officer of SkyBridge Capital, told Bold Business it can be hard to convince developers to build workforce housing, but hopes the tax incentives that come with the Opportunity Zones plan will make a big difference.
Gayeski also discussed Skybridge’s upcoming SALT conference, a bipartisan gathering founded by Scaramucci that will include guests like Donald Trump Jr., Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett, Gen. John F. Kelly and many more. Look forward to our Bold TV coverage of the SALT conference from Las Vegas from May 7-10.
