Dana Asher Levine, who has dressed many executives in Hollywood, including Shonda Rhimes, told Bold Life that the entertainment industry is becoming more accepting of everyday women’s bodies.
“There’s successful people that aren’t just a size zero or two or model-sized…and they want to feel great too,” she said.
Levine said that we’re seeing more real women in the spotlight now because the public is starting to recognize and look up to executives, writers, producers and others working behind the scenes.
“When I first started working, writers weren’t celebrities…but now they are,” she told Bold Life Host Diana Falzone.
Levine also told us about how she faked it until she made it as a stylist, and her routine for getting dressed in the morning: a colorful blouse, jeans and Gucci loafers every day.
