For this week’s Independent Women’s Forum segment, Julie Gunlock, director of IWF’s Center for Progress and Innovation, joined Bold Life’s Diana Falzone to discuss parenting headlines of the week! They spoke about New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern’s in-office pregnancy and maternity leave. A mom herself, Julie said that after having a child, “part of making things work is having a supportive family unit.” She and Diana also discussed how women can negotiate their post-pregnancy life and her ideas for non-governmental ways to fund maternity leave.
