Stoicism; being able to control ones anger, frustrations, feelings of happiness, excitement and joy, etc. without lashing out at the world around you, and apply it in a meaningful way that benefits you, your peers, community and society in a positive / constructive way. Seems simple enough to me. More people should strive to live life like that. The problem is, most people are not interested in bettering themselves or the world around them. So, the most a stoic can do is try to lead someone in the right direction for themselves and everyone else. The rest is up to the individual.
