President-elect Donald Trump’s cabinet picks have been the subject of much controversy, and the U.S. Senator from Alabama Jeff Sessions has been among his most derided picks. Much of the controversy stems from hearsay about conversations that occurred decades ago, which included racist language.
While if this happened, it is obviously reprehensible. But what should also be considered is all of the work Session has done to help the poor and marginalized.
