17 other people had a chance and blew it. There are some people who are gracious in defeat, like Ted Cruz, who should have run his entire campaign the way he handled his departure from The Republican Primaries. They would have all been better off instead of falling for Trumps debate tactics. And I hate to say it, but you are beginning to sound like a fringe / splinter elemental of the party you claim to be a part of it. No one is going to run as a third party candidate and its obviously too late in the race to get in. Plus, most of your pieces have been negative / aggressive anti-Trump rhetoric and I haven’t read anything where you have covered other candidates. You also fit into that same “free media advertisement” narrative. So I don’t know how you can apply a “living room test” to Trump without apply it to yourself. I take it the “living room test” is a code name for ‘tea and crumpets.’ A lot of people don’t care for either or. Especially not when the topic involves politics. Probably the last type of conversation you should try having if you are expecting someone to past the “living room test.” Because no one is going to agree with you 100% of the time!
