Happy Thanksgiving! With Thanksgiving here, Team Bold decided we wanted to do something special beyond normal Bold TV programming: a Thanksgiving-themed episode where we sit down as a group and discuss what we’re thankful for. We would love to hear what you’re thankful for, too!
Join us, tomorrow at 8:30 AM ET, for a very Bold Thanksgiving! Co-hosts Carrie Sheffield and Clay Aiken, associate producers Hayley Folk and Catie Perry as well as Bold’s chief medical correspondent Dr. Kevin Campbell will all join in on this special moment.
We’ll sit down to share what we’re thankful for, the role we play here at Bold and even our Thanksgiving plans.
Did you know that Thanksgiving wasn’t declared a national holiday for more 200 years after the first Thanksgiving happened? According to the History Channel’s Thanksgiving Facts, “Though many competing claims exist, the most familiar story of the first Thanksgiving took place in Plymouth Colony, in present-day Massachusetts, in 1621,” the channel reports. “More than 200 years later, President Abraham Lincoln declared the final Thursday in November as a national day of thanksgiving. Congress finally made Thanksgiving Day an official national holiday in 1941.”
Today, we get to celebrate each year. Bold hopes you’ll join us in our celebration. Thanksgiving is a time to get together, eat well and enjoy time with family and friends. We hope you can join us for this special holiday with our Bold family!
Please tune in, tomorrow for this fun, memorable Bold Thanksgiving episode. Make sure to leave a comment telling us what you’re most thankful for, your favorite Bold moment and what you’re doing for Thanksgiving!
