There were tacos, tacos, and more freakin’ tacos but Austin is one heck of a city. Every year in conjunction with the Spring Break college holiday, the city hosts South By South West, a two-week event that highlights interactive media, film, and music.
I was there this past weekend to speak on a panel on behalf of Bar Works, the workspace with the vibe. Bar Works coworking space is changing the game in what is now considered the next big wave in commercial real estate.
Here at Bold, we find that Bar Works fits our vibe. It is a relaxed environment that promotes innovation and creativity as well as creating an atmosphere where it is easy to network.

The panel topic covered how important it is for businesses to remain socially conscious especially with Millennials and how they view business.
I was able to check out some of the local events they had going on as well. #TexasPalooza is a yearly showcase for upcoming performers to platform their talents. The event goes all day and includes table vendors that ranged from tee shirt retailers to handcrafted jewelry makers.
Austin has such a relaxed mood. Even Uber drivers engaged in real conversations and I met a lot of cool owners as well.
