Just as he did with Memorial Day, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump can’t help but make a day of mourning and reflection about himself. In the wake of the horrific mass shooting at an Orlando gay nightclub, Trump patted himself on the back for his impractical and anti-American proposal to ban all Muslims from entering the country.
Appreciate the congrats for being right on radical Islamic terrorism, I don’t want congrats, I want toughness & vigilance. We must be smart!

Twitizens like Shark Tank star Chris Sacca didn’t respond kindly to Trump’s instinctual narcissistic reaction to the #OrlandoShooting.
.@realDonaldTrump You’re the only person in America who would or could “appreciate the congrats” while families mourn 50 dead.

The Orlando shooting appears to have been motivated by Islamic extremism, with the shooter reportedly declaring allegiance to ISIS. Rather than keep the focus on the families, the way the Orlando mayor has done, Trump shows us what type of leader he would be.
These are the names of victims who’s next of kin have been notified thus far. https://t.co/XkU3pyAs47 https://t.co/RpyMxQ7pTs

Bill Kristol pointed out that both Trump’s reaction, as well as President Obama’s refusal to acknowledge the horrific ideology behind the murders, leaves voters in a bind.
It will be pathetic if this fall we have a choice only between politically correct progressivism and know-nothing authoritarianism.

If anything, Trump’s unexpected sweep of the GOP has taught us the power of culture to drive politics and policy. To prevent future tragedies like the Orlando shooting, we need cultural and religious reforms. LGBT people are targeted for violence around the globe, no matter the gun policies of the country, from France to Iran. We can’t outlaw hate, only strive to show a better way, the way of love and peace.

You know, the typical third grader response to this would be “who died and made you King or Queen of Trumps Twitter account.” But there are better.
I’m pretty sure he was responding to his 9 million twitter followers and supporters of his Presidential campaign. Not you, Bill Kristol, Chris Sacca or the Romney never Trump crowd. Saying it is a lone wolf, we need religious reform, we need this or that is just another way of avoiding we are at war with Right-Wing, Fundamental, Islamic nut case extremist. So instead of focusing your “hate” towards Trump, try redirecting it to the people who are to blame.
Terrorist, who don’t care for America, American ideals, culture or our way of life. I have no love for these people and you shouldn’t either.
Otherwise go report the news in Syria or Iraq and let me know how that works out for you.
