This week on Bold TV, we will be discussing President Donald Trump’s relationship with the press. With the White House’s ban of several news publications from press briefings last week, Trump and Steve Bannon both referring to the media as the “enemy of the people” and Trump’s continuous accusations of “fake news,” there’s a lot to talk about. It’s important to observe why this is happening and to remember the importance of the Press.
Joining our conversation will be Peter Sterne, a POLITICO Media reporter and Alexandra DeSanctis, a William F. Buckley, Jr. Fellow in Political Journalism with the National Review Institute.
For our Opportunity Lives segment, we will be asking: How can we rehabilitate the homeless and formerly incarcerated? Joining us to discuss this topic are George McDonald and Carlos Jones. George is the founder of The Doe Fund, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping the homeless and incarcerated. Carlos was incarcerated for many years, but he has since graduated from The Doe Fund program. He is now working for The Doe Fund and enrolled in college.
As always, we can’t wait for you to join our bold conversation! Join us on our Facebook page at 10am ET tomorrow morning; we’ll be taking your comments live on air!
